Apex Estate Partners named Top Insurance Firm of 2026

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, 22 August 2026. The Global Recognition Awards has named Apex Estate Partners its Top Insurance Firm for 2026.

Apex Estate Partners is a life insurance firm that holds direct appointments with more than 20 carriers, among them Mutual of Omaha, Ethos, Transamerica, American Amicable, Combined and Corebridge Financial. The firm writes no captive contracts. A case can go to whichever carrier underwrites it best rather than to the one company a producer is required to sell.

The firm is licensed in 48 states, and more than 100 producers write under it. Every producer works from home, and client meetings happen on Zoom.

Apex began funding leads in full for every agent in 2022. No producer has paid for a lead since. New agents in this industry commonly buy their own leads and carry that cost against commissions they have not earned yet. The firm absorbs it instead.

How the award is decided

The Global Recognition Awards runs a five-stage process: nomination, screening, shortlisting, evaluation and the announcement of winners. Applicants submit their work for review rather than waiting to be nominated by someone else.

The program states that “shortlisted applicants are evaluated using the Rasch model, which creates a linear measurement scale for each category.” The Rasch model places entries in the same category on one scale, so that two firms can be compared even when each is strong in a different area.
